Welcome to Married Life - Where We Collect Vacuums

With all of the craziness that has come with our spontaneous move and the fact that we move the day after we get home from a vacation to my favorite city in the world (so far), saying that I have been a stressed out mess would be a little bit of an understatement. My poor husband has already suffered through one tiny meltdown and he responded well, by bringing home a bag of my favorite chocolate! I've learned that as much as I love cleaning and decluttering, I am really good at avoiding everything packing. The night that we had our moving date confirmed, I successfully decluttered and sort of packed three cupboards in my kitchen, and then the next three days, I did everything productive BUT that. This week has been one of packing, and a disaster of an apartment. I will be so glad when we are all moved in and unpacked.

At my company party on Saturday. I love this man, he was so helpful!

Have I ever mentioned how much Joe LOVES Dyson vacuums? (No, this is not a sponsored post or anything, just a little random fact about the man I love.) To him, vacuuming is like mowing, but indoors so he can do it even during the winter. Don't ask me, I just married the guy, crazy quirks and all. We got an amazing deal on our first Dyson two years ago, and he still raves about it, he's a little obsessed. So he was really excited to get a handheld, cordless vacuum this weekend. I think he was more excited that I gave him permission to buy it, but whatever works.

A new vacuum inspired Joe to clean the big one a little bit, and he found a lot of my hair in it. I shed, and it drives him insane. He finds hair embedded in the holes of his shirt, it's that bad. Maybe if I chop it all off the shedding will stop? Either way, this random, one sided conversation he had, with the puppy I might add, really cracked me up!

That's how life in our house looks right now, very crazy and maybe slightly insane. Just how we like it!

Do any of you have a weird obsession with random appliances?
