T is for Therapeutic

[ther-uh-pyoo-tik] adjective
1.  curative

My life is chaos more often than not, and I tend to go a little crazy, but spending time with Joe always calms me down, so I consider being with him very therapeutic. Going out to eat together, snuggling up to watch a movie, taking a long walk, and sitting around being lazy are all things that I really enjoy doing with Joe. If I focus on our time together and not on my phone, computer, or the little projects that I need to get done, I always feel happier and more calm afterward.

The very best "therapy" though has been when we get away together for a night or the weekend. Having nothing but each other to focus on for at least 24 hours and having the time to do all of the random things we've been wanting to do together but haven't been able to because of our schedules is really nice! Time with my husband is always my favorite, I just wish our schedules allowed for more.
