Z is for Zany

zany

[zey-nee]
adjective
1.  ludicrously or whimsically comical; clownish

noun
1.  a comically wild or eccentric person

I picked the word zany to describe our marriage because we both have quirky personalities, we are constantly making each other laugh with our random antics and we have a lot of fun together. Joe has a talent for turning any situation into a comical one. He has this goal any time I'm grumpy or upset or crying or serious to make me giggle. He'll say, "I'm going to count to three, don't smile." and then he starts to count and is so proud of himself for getting me to crack a tiny smile before he hits three. (I'm determined to keep a straight face one of these days, it's just harder than it sounds). And when I'm really grumpy with him, rather than listening to why I'm annoyed, he walks around the house mocking and imitating "grumpy wife", making me laugh, which makes me more annoyed. We have a really unique and fun relationship and I wouldn't want it to be any other way! I love my zany husband and I love that we can be zany together!
