I'm posting honeymoon stuff before the wedding pictures. I am still going through all of them and picking which ones I want to print and post. We decided to go to Park City because we both have such busy lives and we never get a chance to slow down and just relax, so that is exactly what we did. We made no plans, we only had ideas of things that we could do if we wanted to and we sat back and enjoyed ourselves.
When we got to Park City on Wednesday, we couldn't check into our hotel yet and we had a few hours before the movie we planned to see started, so we wandered Main Street and then ended up sitting on a bench, looking at a book of restaurants and menus, deciding where we wanted to go eat while we were there. It was a very successful bench discussion!
Before we went to see our movie, I made Joe promise that we could stop at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory to get me A LOT of chocolate. I couldn't convince Joe to get anything other than an ice cream cone, but I sure enjoyed my chocolate.
Joe's yummy strawberry ice cream cone from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and my big bag of chocolate! Caramel chocolate dipped pretzels, haystacks, etc. I forget what all was in there.
We got two rather large treats to eat during our movie! They were SOOOOO delicious!
After the movie, we checked into our hotel. We stayed at The Hotel Park City in one of the cottages. They are REALLY AMAZING! Thanks to Joe's mission buddy for the sweet deal! Here were some of our favorite features.
I loved this tub, it's the perfect size and the jets were fantastic!
I also loved this mirror! It made putting on my makeup in the morning so much easier!
This is half of the living area and the kitchenette.
Here is Joe's favorite. The big TV and surround system. We watched a lot of movies on this thing!
The private balcony with a hot tub and table. We ate dinner out there when we weren't out to eat!
Our king size bed with the really soft pillows and comforters.
The TV in our bedroom. It didn't have a DVD player or anything, but it still worked!
We made a few purchases at the Tanger Outlets and at Walmart while we were gone! Here is Joe posing with his new clothes. He got some sweet ties! We also got sick of the Redbox selection, so we bought some movies for cheap at Walmart!
Friday afternoon, after our Walmart adventure, we went to Blue Iguana! I found an awesome coupon in one of our books we picked up on Main Street, Joe was proud!
That was our trip! We enjoyed it and had a lot of fun! Coming home to reality was really rough.
Where did you go for your honeymoon?
