A few months ago, The Happy Wives Club had an awesome post about making a husband gratitude list. It's November, so I thought it would be the perfect time to find some inspiration in that post for a goal. I thought about making a list all throughout the month and then I changed my mind. I decided that I wanted to involve my husband a little bit and start a fun new family tradition as well. Instead of keeping a list, I created a Thankful Jar complete with festive strips of paper to write on.
Every day from this past Friday until Thanksgiving, I told Joe that we are supposed to fill the jar for things in our marriage and our life together that we are grateful for. It can be a date night, time together, a tradition we have, something about the other person, an act of service we did for each other, etc. My plan is to read everything in the jar on the morning of Thanksgiving, before we start our day and parties with family. This fun new tradition will help me focus on the things that I'm thankful for in my marriage and my life and make me more grateful for the man that I married.
What are you most grateful for?
