A while ago my friend and I decided that it would be really fun to go to Disney on Ice
and then we decided to make it a date and take our husbands! Great idea right? What husband wouldn't want to accompany their 24 year old wife to Disney on Ice where the majority of the audience would be female and most of them would be under the age of 10 and the rest, young at heart? Us girls felt a little out of place so next time we plan on wearing tiara's and tutu's so that we feel like princesses too! (Yes, I said next time!)
How much did Joe love the show? I'll let the pictures speak for themselves!
Ten minutes into the show.
At intermission he let his true feelings show.
Joe said, "This is my favorite part!"
The whole show for him.
Joe's fears revealed
This is tragic everyone!
I loved the entire show, but I think that Tangled was our favorite part! They had so many fun costumes, the characters were great, there were some talented things going on, two people skated around in a horse costume!!!, and they did some awesome acrobatics using Rapunzel's hair!
The rotating set before the show
Cinderella's ball. I loved the purple lighting!
Cinderella's ball. Fun dresses!
The horse was my favorite!
Flynn and Rapunzel's wedding celebration!
Little girls are never too old for Disney on Ice, I truly believe that! I loved every minute of it, and I felt like I was five again through the entire show! I can't wait to have little girls of my own so that they can experience the magic with me! And who knows, maybe Joe will be a little more enthusiastic about the show when the girls he's seeing the show with are his own little ones, and not just his wife who is five years old in her head sometimes!
Do you make your husband sit through things like this, that he hates?
