1. Your house is on fire. What five items do you grab before you leave?
His: My mission journal, my wife ("I'd bring you, I'd probably wake you up."), my laptop, my shoes, my wallet.... my renter's insurance...
Hers: My hard drive that has all of my files and journals on it, my purse that has my planner/flash drives/wallet, my Grandma's journals that I typed up, the book that I made Joe for our first anniversary,
2. If you could be/had to be the main character of any movie, who would you be?
His: I would be Jason Bourne because he's BA. (and then he laughed)
Hers: Um... this week my answer would have to be someone from Peter Pan. It just came out of the vault and we bought it!!!! Favorite movie ever!!!!! I just can never decide if I'd rather be Tinkerbell or Wendy. (That's a lame answer, I couldn't think of anyone awesome or profound.) It would be fun to fly, not fun to be captured by pirates, and who wouldn't fall in love with Peter Pan?!
3. What physical feature do you love most about yourself?
His: That I have a big stomach so I can eat whatever I want, as much as I want.
Hers: My eyes. They're a really cool color of blue/hazel, and I love my eyelashes too.
4. Tell us why your name is your name.
His: My mom wanted to call me J.D. and Joseph is a family name, Dee is a family name.
Hers: The story that I know is: my parents had a few ideas for names, I don't know what any of the others were, they don't remember. Amber was one of their ideas but a lot of girls in the neighborhood had that name, so they added ly and there you have it.
5. What is the greatest place you've ever traveled to?
His: Cancun, Merida, the Yucatan Peninsula.
Hers: San Francisco was my most favorite place to be, and New York came in a close second.
6. Are you a morning person or a night person?
His: Night. (He said that with huge eyes.)
Hers: I am most definitely a night person. I'm not as much of a night person as I used to be, but I know that I am for sure not a morning person.
7. Who is someone you wish you were closer to?
His: "That is such a girly question." When I forced him to answer it, he said, "Ugh... George W. Bush because Ronald Reagan is dead."
Hers: Probably my extended family, on both sides. I wish that we did more together like we used to and hadn't grown apart for various reasons over the years.
8. What quality do you have that you hope your kids inherit?
His: The awesomeness gene that I carry! (My husband has always been so humble.)
Hers: I hope that my kids are as outgoing and sure of themselves as I feel like I am.
9. What's your favorite memory with your childhood best friend?
His: The endless hours of gaming.
Hers: When we lived in Murray, my friend Brittany and I were inseparable. We were trouble, but we had a lot of fun! She lived across the circle from us and every winter, they would plow a massive snow pile in front of one of our houses. We could spend hours digging holes in that pile, climbing on it and having imaginary adventures. That is probably the first thing I think of when I think of childhood things with a friend.
10. If you had to move out of the country, where would you move to?
His: The Yucatan. (and then under his breath he said,) "of course, psh."
Hers: Italy!!!!! Hands down!
