His & Her Q&A #8

My friend Bethany used to post these awesome His & Her Q&A blogs every week or so before she retired from writing over at Love the Grows. I didn't get the opportunity to participate in all of them, mostly because I started following her blog halfway in, but I loved the ones that I did participate in so a while ago, I decided to post them over here on my blog and finish up the ones that I hadn't done yet. It has been fun, and I will continue to post ten of them ever Friday until we finish the list.

His & Her Q&A

1. How would a classmate have described you in high school?

His: "Awesome"

Hers: Boy crazy, a flirt, energetic, psychotic, wild, easily excited. Basically a less tired version of myself, I had a lot of energy and a lot of fun!

2. What was a toy from childhood you never had but coveted?

His: "The little motorized cars, or jeeps or whatever."

Hers: The only thing I can remember really wanting and never having was a Furby! Pathetic, I know. Actually, I think I always wanted a Barbie cash register and I never got one of those either.

3. What is your biggest flaw?

His: "That I'm awesome" (My husband thinks very highly of himself, it's great.)

Hers: Right now I would say that my biggest flaw is my self image.

4. What do you do on your bad days to make you happy?

His: "Watch a war movie and buy a Little Caesars pizza."

Hers: I eat junk food and watch a chick flick type show.

5. What does your other half do for you on your bad days to make you happy?

His: "You let me buy greasy food to eat, sometimes you even pick it up."

Hers: This week when I had a rough day, I came home and he had cleaned our apartment, washed the bedding and made the bed (a rare occurrence), etc. He was awesome! It was such a great surprise to come home to.

6. When you go to an event/party/potluck, what food do you hope is there?

His: "Funeral potatoes"

Hers: Little Smokies in barbecue sauce or um.... nope, that's the only thing I can think of that I really wish is at a potluck and that I get the most excited about.

7. What are your favorite smartphone apps?

His: "I use Facebook and Twitter the most I guess."

Hers: Right now my favorite apps are Shopkick (it's like a scavenger hunt at the grocery store!), Pinterest (no errors ever!), Couple (a fun husband and wife app), Blog Lovin', My Fitness Pal, Square and Styleseat (my salon brain)!

8. What is something that always embarrasses you?

His: "When I don't mow a straight line."

Hers: I don't know, I'm not really embarrassed easily. And usually if I'm embarrassed by something, I'm laughing so hard at myself that it's not really embarrassing, just funny.

9. What is some of the best advice your parents have given you?

His: "You're either going to pay for education in school or in business mistakes and one of them might be cheaper."

Hers: That I should learn how to do math without a calculator! (I really hate admitting this one.) When I went back to school and had to start at the bottom of the math food chain, they wouldn't let me use a calculator and I was so grumpy about it, but then I had so many ah-ha moments, and I actually appreciated doing things by hand, even if it was time consuming and a pain.

10. Who is your celebrity man crush?

His: "Bruce Willis"

Hers: Robert Downey Jr. and Hugh Jackman. I can have two right?
